Bihar chief minister Samrat Choudhary flags off a “Fun Run” along with Sports and IT Minister Shreyasi Singh and Mayor Seeta Sahu at the railway bridge (Ganga Ghat) on JP Ganga Path under the Nari Shakti Vandan Abhiyan. Highlighting women’s empowerment, references were made to Narendra Modi’s initiative to ensure 33% reservation for women in legislatures and Nitish Kumar’s efforts to expand rights and participation for women. A large number of women participated enthusiastically in the event.
